Genuine Sea Glass Jewelry by Cindy Kuhn
The Earth Series of my Elemental Collection of Sea Glass Jewelry features works made from sea glass in shades of browns and greens. Although rootbeer brown and emerald green are considered common colors of sea glass and less coveted than some other colors, amber, apple green, lime green, olivine, citron, sage and khaki are all considered to be either rare or extremely rare. The varying shades and the exquisite shapes as well as the smooth and frosted quality of the seaglass in my creations render them exceedingly rare specimens of sea glass in my experience. I personally love the rich, warm browns and the soft, mellow greens. Wearing these colors of sea glass helps to ground oneself
in reality and/or mother earth. The expression,
"to have ones feet firmly planted on the ground,"
captures the meaning.
