The price to drill your sea glass depends on the distance I need to drill through the glass. The greater the distance, the much higher degree of difficulty in drilling the glass. If your piece of sea glass needs to be drilled longer than 15mm, please contact me before making your purchase.

Please note: not all sea glass lends itself to drilling in this fashion! Your glass must be at least 5mm thick, perpendicular to the direction of the hole.

Many people have shared with me their memories of the thrill of finding a piece of beach glass along the shoreline. Because every piece is special, especially ones you find yourself, it is natural to want to capture and preserve it, but also enjoy it at the same time. I receive many requests from people to make custom jewelry pieces with glass that they found themselves. This work is understandably stressful, because I'm working with pieces to which my clients are emotionally attached: sea glass is a fragile material, and it does break from time to time when drilled. This is not due to lack of skill; but rather to the inherent qualities of the glass and the stress it has undergone on its long journey. For these reasons, my custom work is limited to the designs pictured below.

Sea Glass Charm Bracelet I

I will create this simple sea glass charm bracelet to your length specifications out of your sea glass. To achieve this look, your sea glass should be uniform in size, shape and thickness. Many of the pieces used to create the bracelet in the picture are considered to be either rare or extremely rare.

Your finished bracelet will be as lovely as the sea glass you provide and you may provide up to thirty pieces of beach glass to be incorporated into the finished bracelet.

Each mermaid tear is drilled perpendicular to its widest face. 4mm .925 Sterling Silver round beads, a heavy Sterling Silver rolo chain with a large lobster clasp and a .999 Fine Silver sea shell charm round out the findings for this lovely bracelet.

Sea Glass Charm Bracelet II

I will re-create this stunning sea glass charm bracelet for you to your length specifications out of your sea glass. This bracelet design lends itself to the use of many eclectic pieces of sea glass. I've found that even poor quality sea glass looks amazingly beautiful when incorporated into this design. Many of the pieces used to create the bracelet in the picture are considered to be either rare or extremely rare.

Your finished bracelet will be as lovely as the sea glass you provide. You may provide up to twenty-five pieces of sea glass to be incorporated into the finished bracelet.

The pieces of sea glass are wire wrapped with .925 Sterling Silver wire and I've added .Sterling and Fine Silver charms and beads for a touch of fun and whimzy.
